| Marty Robbins | Down in the Little Green Valley | Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs (196?) | |
| Our visitor Tom Barton
writes: This cut is from Marty Robbins' "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs" album recorded in 1959 in one afternoon. Sony/Legacy records reengineered the album in 1999 and rereleased it as one of its first of the American Legends series. Of course, this album included "El Paso" which was Robbins' signature song. Background vocals and harmony included Jim, Chuck and Tompall Glaser. (Thanks, Tom! Great info!) Our visitor Mark Smith writes: Our visitor R.
